There really are not any beginner's tutorials on Allegra, but there is a
fairly good tutorial by George Foot called Allegro Vivace. Other than that
you will have to use the Allegro Programming Library, study the examples and
just ask questions of the news group. I am just learning myself and it has
been a bit of a struggle. One of the hardest so far was trying to resize
fonts for unlike Borland C++, you can just specify a size font to use. The
fonts are kept in a datafile and you must load the datafile and then access
the font, palette, or bmp inside the datafile. Though I am not sure how much
help I.ll be, if you have any specific questions, I would be glad to try and
answer for you though I am sure that there are others in the newsgroup who
are much better able to answer them. Just post your questions and keep
checking the newsgroup for your answer.
Good Luck
