Does anybody know if there is an overhead involved with using sprites and bitmaps straight from the datafile? (uncompressed) I suspect that it would be faster to copy all the images onto internal bitmaps, but I've been quite lazy and it would mean a major overhaul of my code!!! Can anyone help me, as my game is slowly but surely grinding itself into the floor... Barry Gillhespy (www.magma.force9.co.uk - New! Faster Downloads! + working links to join the Dpaint Webring!!!
