i got djgpp files from delorie, unzipped them all into c:\djgpp (yes, with
a -d option), went into the allegro directory to make the libraries and got
this:

    c:\djgpp\allegro>make
    Missing djgpp package! You need to install gcc271b.zip (or whatever the
    latest version is). Download this from wherever you got djgpp, and unzip
    it into the root of your djgpp directory.

i have gcc281b.zip installed. any help would be appreciated. also if anyone
can recommend any links for djgpp and allegro as well as optimising c and
c++ for different compilers. thanks in advance.]\
