Hi all,
What's the difference between a "pre-emptive multithreading library"
and a "thread package." I am trying to find a library to do
(multi)threading in a djgpp game and I downloaded jkthpack.zip which
is a "threading packing," LWP (jtlwp20s.zip) which is a "pre-emptive
multithreading library", and DOSThread.
LWP was written with DJGPP in mind and has ok docs, so I will probably
use that one, but then again, DOSThread looks pretty good too. If
anyone has any suggestions on which library to use (or even other
libraries that are better), _please_ let me know. I am looking for
something that is free, fast, free, stable, free, and easy to learn.
I can give credit for the software in the game, but I can't afford to
pay anyone for it... :(
btw, it is a tossup between using DOSThread and LWP, but DOSThread has
no info on which compiler it was written for (complete ansi?). If
anyone wants a copy of these, let me know.
Thanks all!
