You are confusing a feature only working on elf with linux chauvinism.  It
may very well be impossible to support it in COFF file format.  I am sure
that Ian would accept any patches that you make to binutils to correct this.

I'll take a look at the -fno-implicit-template problem as time permits.  I
suspect you'd get more help if you didn't come off as expecting service and
support from volunteer projects.
