You have really 3 choices:
1) Convert both to use the same palette. The Allergro Grabber could do this, but
it requires 256->Truecolor->256 conversion after switching palettes.
2) There is a util in the Allegro web pages that is suppose to do this. It's
called UNIPAL. I don't use it because I prefer 16 bit highcolour, but it may do
the trick. Try checking it out.
3) Use highcolour modes for the entire program. The upgraded 3.0+WIP version of
Allegro is suppose to support this.
