Try to find Kris Heidenstrom's PC timing FAQ (pctim003.zip or maybe
pctim004.zip in the meantime - ask http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/ftpsearch).
It's not exactly a tutorial, but it has lots of information on probably
every aspect of PC timing.
