Does anyone know of a sound library that will let you:

1) Control the mixer on a SBPro or equivalent soundcard.
   Ie. let you sample from CD-in, line-in, etc.
2) Provides stereo recording functions?

The reason I ask is I am writing a program to display the
waveforms of music coming in through the CD or line-in.
I'm hoping there's already a library for this ...
