I used the DAT.EXE program to add a directory of PCX files to a DAT file. Now they are all named by the form FILENAME_EXT of each file. (ie, GFX1_PCX, GFX2_PCX...) Is there any way to now get rid of the _PCX from each name? I could change the header file created by DAT.EXE, but then I would have to do so every time I add or remove something from the DAT file... Thanks, Dan Chak chakster AT geocities DOT com
