Well, for *me*, on an i486-linux Slackware system, it was quite easy. YMMV
of course.

All right. I think I had a `cc' symlink, and when GCC used it I figured it
always did. (This is for 2.7.2.1.) The docs talk about the stage 1 compiler
being built with `cc', on the theory that you're bootstrapping.
