I finally got the DJGPP version of pdftex working, after downloading
and installing the Blue Sky type 1 fonts (and getting some apparently
needed files from the source distribution of pdftex that weren't in the DJGPP
distribution).
Have followed directions, as near as I can tell, and con produce both
dvi files and pdf files from both plain tex and latex. However, when
I produce a pdf file from my latex test input using pdflatex (and the
\pdfoutput=1 comand as the first line in the test file), I get a pdf version
with a right margin with zero width (or nearly so). The .ps file I get from
the .dvi output of pdflatex is just fine. Also, both the PDF files and
dvi files produced by plain pdftex (on the file cmsample.tex that came with
the Blue Sky fonts) are both just fine.
Any suggestions as to where to look to find out how to get my right margin
back?
thanks,
