That is to say, I have problems compiling code from within Rhide.
I've got a project set up to compile my code (lets say a hello world program)
and it'll compile fine, but the linking goes all wonky... if I ask it to link
it would do:
gcc hellow.o hellow.o -o hellow.exe
Instead of:
gcc hellow.o -o hellow.exe
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? It's not crucial but it's a nuisance having
to drop out of rhide and run a makefile every time I want to test the code.
I've tried reading the helpfiles but it's a bit hard to understand the authors
English and I can't find any troubleshooting type sections. Any help on this
would be appreciated.
While I'm on the subject of Rhide, is there any way to save global preferences
(like editor preferences) that are automatically loaded every time I start the
ide? I can save project preferences like this but it's a nuisance having to
set up the whole thing all over again every time I want to write a little bit
of code to test an idea or convert a file or something...
Anyway, thanks for any help.
Andrew
