I have been using gcc on another platform for a little while now and have recently installed djgpp and have it working successfully from the command line. I have also recently installed emacs and cannot find out how to compile code from within emacs. Do I have to drop out of emacs before I can compile? I've read the faq and tutorials that came with emacs but can't find anything about compiling. I have got cc-mode working but there's nothing in there either. any help is greatly received. Alastair
