PGCC is based on EGCS. Yes, I already contacted PGCC coordinator, Marc
Lehman and he is quite interested (been working out with him for weeks
already). Right now, I am trying to convince some guys at egcs AT cygnus DOT com.
I started this patch on 2.7.2.1 source tree and will continue working on
it for practical reasons. The Machine Description for 2.7.2.1 is so
different than 2.8.x and EGCS so I have to tear myself into three
different directions to support them all. Also, 2.7.2.1 is the more widely
used non-beta version and the patch only requires minor changes to the
source tree (for other MMX-like architectures: VIS/ultrasparc,
MAX/parisc2.0, and MAX/axp, no patch is needed)

It is posibble on 2.8.x/EGCS (simple changes really) but for 2.8.x I need
to talk to Richard Kenner about this (GCC maintainer 2.8.x). If you wanna
help out on 2.8.x let me know.

Later
