I just got DJGPP (v2.1), and was messing around with Rhide a bit in a DOS
box, and when I went back to Windows 95 I realised the sound card had cut
out. (no sounds can be heard). Its a true Soundblaster 16, and it has always
been a bit dodgy (driving games always seem to make the sound stop working,
as do some others), but only things which actually the use the sound card
have crashed it before. I wonder if anyone has a clue how RHIDE or DJGPP
(sorry, don't know which, although I guess it's probably DJGPP) could crash
the sound card. If nothing else, it might give me an idea what is wrong with
my sound card.
Thanks to anyone who replies.
