When I run some DJGPP programms that uses allegro, it causes windows 95 to
crash.
I don't know exactly what it is that causes it, so if anyone could tell me
I'd be thankfull.
This is what happens:
I run the programs from a fullscreen dos-prompt in windows 95. Then
suddenly I get a blue windows 95 error screen, often an about an exception
in VMM or thomething like that. I push the any-key and comes back to my
dos-program and it works just fine, until I try to switch back to windows.
Windows is gone, allmost, just a black screen with a cursor and the only
thing that works is the reset-button.
I have a little theory of what it could be:
All programs that crash is compiled with DJGPP and they all use allegro to
display grafics. And I thing that all programs that have crashed uses the
mouse or the soundcard, so it could be something with hardware interrupts,
or the functions in allegro that handles those.
Any theory is wellcome!
Or if you have a solution to the problem. Yipee, hurray, send it to me!!
