If some specific wording of the docs made it hard on you to understand
the intent, please quote those places in the docs and suggest how they
should be improved.

This cannot happen if you run DJGPP programs from the DOS box. Please
tell exactly how did you run that program, and what was the exact text of
the error message.

DPMI=DOS Protected Mode Interface. Windows has a built-in DPMI server,
so you should never see this message in the DOS box under Windows.
