This is a continuation of a request I sent earlier re the same subject. It turns out the Octagon 6040 embedded microcontroller uses a chip from ALI ( Acer Labs, Inc. ) which is "Pin-to-pin compatible with Intel & AMD Low power consumption." I have contacted the ALI people, but was wondering if anyone else has delt with this chip? thanks, fritz parsons fritzp AT performancesw DOT com
