Hi,
Another one for the gurus:
I use my TP6 IDE as a programming editor for DJGPP (having found RHIDE to
complex and overpowered). The interesting thing is this:
I do my coding in a W95 DOS box. I can run DJGPP compiled stuff fine, but
as soon as I try to start up the TP6 IDE (to edit code) the DOS box crashes
and W95 displays the familiar "program performed illegal operation" stuff.
The kicker is that if I start a new DOS box, and run the TP6 IDE FIRST in
the session, I can run DJGPP compiled stuff just fine, AND the IDE then
works too, without crashing the DOS box.
The key to safe use is this: Always start the IDE first, quit, then run
DJGPP stuff, and then it is okay to restart the IDE later to edit code.
Any idea why this happens?
