The more work you are willing to put into learning, the better and more
productive your learning experience will be. We can't hold your hand
through every single step of setting up the compiler because we can't be
there with you personally to help. That's why the developers of DJGPP
wrote comprehensive and detailed instructions specifically for that
purpose.
Go to http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/zip-picker.html. Select your
required functionality from the form, and it will tell you what files
you need to download and give you the necessary links. You can also get
the list of files from 'v2/readme.1st' from any SimTel mirror.
Pay particular attention to the 'readme.1st' file, as it contains
_precise_ instructions for downloading, installing, and configuring
DJGPP. If you do not follow these instructions precisely, DJGPP will
not work. If you have problems understanding the instructions, please
describe what you don't understand, and we'll do our best to clarify
them for you.
Good luck!
