There are some libraries interfacing to old Winsock (not Winsock 2) which

Understanding it is one thing; noticing and dealing with it is another.
Regardless of how well I understand how your anti-spam works, I'm still
quite likely to reply to it without checking, and end up with unpleasant
consequences. Bogus addresses like <nobody AT nowhere DOT com> are quite bad enough
for the bounce messages they produce; but <postmaster AT 127 DOT 0 DOT 0 DOT 1> borders on
pure evil. If you want help, punishing well-meaning people who try to give
it is not the way to go about it.
