If you use a stock version of 2.01, this is a known bug, 
get ptf0002.zip from
ftp://ftp.lstm.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/pub/djgpp/patches
that fixes a problem when profiling. 
Or get the whole fixed libc to fix a lot of other things.
