How did you tested the DJGPP+Allegro performance? With a frame rate?
If that's the case perhaps the video speed had dropped in your system. It can
be related to a change in BUS clock (the CPUs are both 166MHz, but normally
Cyrix and AMD cheat and the clock is different).
