Oh, I read it again. You are saying it's about 20% slower than the Cyrix when 
running DJGPP + Allegro programs. In that case, the problem could be 
cache-related (like maybe the Cyrix does have a bigger cache I don't know 
like I said before) but maybe then again the problem is related to video 
adapter, whatnot. The thing is, system performance is not a simple issue. 
Never has been.
