Subject:	PERL Question

Hi
I have a question regarding PERL. I have never used PERL but i want 
to create my own CGI scripts. My question is if I can use 
perl5xxx.zip iv heard of here. And can i develope CGI scripts in 
MS/DOS using it? Well any information would be great that deals with 
PERL for beginner. And Im not a beginner in programming just PERL.
