As there are no big problems like graphics stuff are involved,
I'd bet a UNIX version will work nearly out of the box. 
Except for changing fopen(foo,"r"); to fopen(foo,"rb");
and such appropriately there are probably no gotchas.
I didn't try so far, though. Anyway it is always a good 
idea to check the v2gnu directory.
