Mesa also supports HW acceleration under Linux. Under Windows there's
a support for S3 Virge through the S3D library, Permedia2 support for
Linux is on the way. Just FYI.

Since Mesa has a DOS support ( although rather dated, I guess ) and
there is a Glide for DOS, I believe it's not that hard to port
Mesa+Glide version to DOS. It's up to you, DJGPP guys ! 8)
