Probably you are misunderstanding something. (maybe my fault because
of bad description). If you have opened already a project, then you
donīt need to save any options explicitely, because they are saved
already automatically to the project file.
The "Save options" feature is meant to be only for all that user,
who donīt use a project but want to use common options all the time.
