Reading the FAQ, I can't see how you could have missed section 8.2 'Missing C++ headers', that explains exactly your problem. In a nutshell: you file should have been called 'hello.cc', not 'hello.c' -- Hans-Bernhard Broeker (broeker AT physik DOT rwth-aachen DOT de) Even if all the snow were burnt, ashes would remain.
