That German dude continued to send me long identical-looking messages in
German in reply to all my postings, AFTER I asked him politely in e-mail
to either use English or not bother since it couldn't possibly help me. I
am beginning to suspect it is actually some kind of spam now, since a
helpful person would presumably have replied in the language of the
posting, or at least switched to it when politely asked to, or at the very
least quit mailing if he didn't know enough English to use English. As for
the suggestion I "go and learn German" you're talking a long, tedious,
heavy workload over a few months in order to read four (4) e-mails that
now seem likely to be some sort of UBE rather than anything helpful.
