unfortunately true, tho the man page for sed is *slightly* better than
most(??).
a copy of the O'Reilly LINUX IN A NUTSHELL book will get you started
with most unix utilities, you can often get by otherwise on the
documentation from CYGNUS (free in the DJGPP archives) and GNU (same.)
bizarrely, no one seems to have made a nice TeX doc on sed.
or have they?? anybody know?
