when u compile something it produces the obj code, ie it compiles all the code you give it, when you link something with something else (usually a library) the linker adds in the library and the functions you may have called in side you code... sorta.. hehe D. steven AT freenet DOT edmonton DOT ab DOT ca wrote: > What's the difference between linking and compiling?
