Having just downloaded WIP October 19th 1997, It's exciting to see 8,15,16,24 
and 32 bit color support. Allegro has a great interface  and the 
initialization of it's many features is very straightforward. It is truly a 
pleasure to use. What am I using it for? Writing a game, of course. ;-)
