I have been working on a 3D engine (using DJGPP of course) for some =
time,=20
it now has various nifty effects such as multiple colored light sources, =
16-bit color, z-buffer, high polygon counts, etc. I have decided that I =
need to add accelerator support, and so I downloaded glide (I have a =
Monster 3D) and find that the Dos library uses an .ovl file (compiled =
with WATCOM C) and the windows API uses a .dll of course. After rigorous =
searching, I can find no documentation on how I can get this API, or any =
API using dynamic link libraries, to work in DOS with DJGPP. So, my =
question is:
Is there any way I can do this? If not, do you know where I can find =
information on the .ovl file format?
Thank you,
Jeremy J. Chernobieff
