I got some time to work on the empty file problem with ispell. This is
not the newest version as I haven't had a chance to download it yet. If
my autoexec includes the share command ispell leaves an empty file. If I
remove the share line in the autoexec it works fine. If I then execute
share from the dos prompt it again leaves an empty file.
