But maybe this acronym was not new to the people the question was aimed
at. Since you didn't know what it meant, obviously you would not be able
to answer the question, therefore it doesn't matter whether you
understood it or not...
For me, the annoying thing is the way you tend to become so hostile
every time you don't understand something. Why not ask politely? People
would be far more likely to explain than when you act like they
have no right to use words that you don't know about :-)
