I must have a bad install going because some of the downloaded test programs
cause SIGSEGVs. One that does is 'farptr.c'. ('nearptr.c' also does it.)
Help! In RHIDE it stops at the very first line, a call to _farpoke().
Here's the environment:
COMSPEC=C:\COMMAND.COM
PATH=d:\DJGPP\BIN;C:\MSDOS;D:\WINDOWS;D:\PM4;D:\ALDUS;D:\UTIL\PKZIP;D:\WORD5;
DJGPP=d:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
running DOS 5.0 and CWSDPMI on an 80486DX2/66
and the memory:
go32/v2 version 2.0 built Aug 12 1996 22:27:23
DPMI memory available: 6347 Kb
DPMI swap space available: 10441 Kb
and the ugliness:
Exiting due to signal SIGSEGV
