CLK_TCK *is* defined in time.h, but is enclosed in `#ifndef
__STRICT_ANSI__', which IIRC `gcc -ansi' defines. So if CLK_TCK really is
ANSI, then maybe this is a bug. You should be able to compile without -ansi
without trouble. The only difference is that GCC won't complain if you use
their extensions.

I think somebody is working on this. You should probably avoid using
_doscan, but it should be safe enough in the short term. You probably should
look at its source to make sure it does what you think.

I think you mean `-fomit-frame-pointer' (singular).

No there isn't. But see FAQ section 14.3 for some supposedly equivalent flags.
