Ummm... good question. I don't know. I think the memory poke works because
BIOS monitors the area, so probably it changes the LED's when it notices it.
Perhaps on the next timer tick, or next keyboard interrupt, or something...
I'd never heard of Firewind's method before, but I'm not about to argue with
it since it works in an obvious way.
