Subject:	unholy Borland string routines - any package?

I'm stumbling across some ugly program that uses
these Borlang strupr/strncmpi stuff that makes programs
difficult to port.

Does anyone know (even at the risk of asking a FAQ)
of a package that 'augment' djgpp/GNU by these routines?
