Subject: | gnuplot 3.5 ported to DJGPP and Allegro
|
Hi everyone. I have ported gnuplot 3.5 to DJGPP using Allegro 2.2 for my
graphics. gnuplot is a scientific graphing program which can plot functions,
data, parametric functions, and 3-d plots. Previously, the only ports of
gnuplot for DOS were one which was compiled with Turbo C, had only standard
VGA graphics, and couldn't do hidden line removal; and one compiled with
Zortech C that was really picky about memory managers. The last attempt they
did at porting to DJGPP was for DJGPP 1.08 (!), when of course many
important things were broken. I suppose I can mail my patch if anybody's
interested (about 25K). I may send it to the gnuplot people sometime but I
had to make some fairly ugly changes (there were some identifier conflicts
with Allegro).
Just another DJGPP success story!
