Have you ever programmed the Soundblaster before? Like in Real-mode or
something?
I've got news for you... it isn't easy!
I thought that the Allegro sources were very helpful, but failing that there
are a couple of links that might help you.
Check out SET's page:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/6552/dlinks.html
Or Brennan's page:
http://www.rt66.com/~brennan/djgpp/
Both have links to other sound examples and libraries (eg MikMod - alibrary
with full source or sb_dj05 an older (I think DJ v1 which could be a
problem) which is an example of playing a sample.
Sorry if I got these links wrong... my memory is not so good. They are
_definately_ right on my home page though (the programming one)
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/7483/
It also has links to other C++/DJGPP resources which might be helpful.
HTH,
Brett
