My 486 DX4-100 had Win 95 installed from day one.
It runs well with 16mb. ram and is just beautiful with 24 mb.
DJGPP,Allegro, GRX,RSXNT, all compiled (where necessary) and ran without
a hitch as did Win32-Lcc.
The only problem I have had is with some of Alaric William's interrupt
code.
No time yet to check this out in detail.
You shouldn't have any trouble with your DX4 and Win 95.
