Wince? :)
All of which are Windows. And WinNT and Win95 both use the same
programming interface, Win32, which frankly doesn't say much for the
compiler's ability to generate for different platforms.
This question should really be split into the separate issues of code
generation, IDE, and platform support. In my opinion, MSVC++ wins the IDE
war (love 4.0's help system) and GCC wins the platform support area (new
platform, recompile GCC and tweak runtime libraries, then spread the new
version throughout the Internet). I'm not sure which is best in code
generation anymore.
Oh well, dumb question anyway. What's the use of using a compiler that
everyone else loves and you hate?
