I use, support, and make free software myself, but I can't survive on
that alone. That is why I ask about commercial software. Besides, the
majority of people who frown upon commercial software are spoiled
yuppies who think the world should be free because their kernel is.
Linux NEEDS commercial software. There are some great apps to be made,
but wont be without proper funding. The free software business is
amazing... but it's not everything.
And one more thing, commercial does NOT equal M$!!! Do you think
microsoft was the first to create commercial software? Do you think
they'll be the last? There is absolutely no connection. Why is it that
everything bad in this world must be because of Microsoft? Hey, I hate
M$ too, but atleast I find substantial evidence before critisizing them
of anything.
