when ever i use cout << "\n"<<setiosflags(ios::showpoint) <<setprecision(2);
i get the follwing:
 2.9e+02 instead of 293.625

i am using the the following to compile
gcc  %1.cpp -o %1.exe -liostream -lm 

where i pass in the program name from the command line
what i'm am i doing wrong
