I thought I had at one time saw a variable 
or struct field somewhere that gave the address of
the linear frame buffer (assuming it is available)
in Allegro.

I just want allegro to set up the video mode and
I will dump data myself to the LFB.
I have looked through source, headers and
documentation but can't find it again.

it's got to be there somewhere, I just can't see
the forest because of all the trees.

Any help finding it?
