Agreed, if the DJGPP zip had long file names, which it does not.

Been there, done that. Makes the bat files choke. Not that I want to
use them, I agree with you in principle.

I agree with you. But the source as distributed is also geared to
non-LFN environments, as it should be. Makes it a little more
difficult on those of us with LFN=y environments. There's a middle
ground, but we need to refine it, I think.
