I am not familiar with the .o or .a UNIX object and archive formats nor with
the borland DOS .lib formats.
So I need a program which can translate between the two...
If there exists a program like EXE2COFF except for .lib's (& .obj's would be
nice too but not necessarily important to me at this time) instead of .exe's
I would greatly appreciate pointers on where to find it.
Thanks.
Please send responses to h5513 AT mindspring DOT com as I do not check high-traffic
newsgroups too often...
BTW- for any interested, I need such a program to convert the Creative Labs
SB.LIB to use with djgpp... since it is likely a conversion program does not
exist I will likely have to get developer info for yamaha OPL3 (I'm writing
a MIDI composer... the only existing MIDI composers I've seen I don't like
[except one program which doesnt actually export to .MID which is a feature
I need so I'll code it myself...])
anyways... thanks in advance for any pointers or tips (and if your thinking
of suggesting the Allegro multimedia libs [for game programming], no thanks...
I know it can playback MID files but I'd like a little more control over
playback and various other things...
