Please tell more about your system setup.  Is it plain DOS, Windows
(if so, which version?) or what?  Do you use CWSDPMI, and if so, which
version?  DJGPP v2.01 comes with gcc 2.7.2.1, so why are you compiling
2.7.0?  Also, please run go32-v2 and mem /c in the same environment
that you tried to compile gcc and post what they print.

The problem quoted by the FAQ was never reported to happen while
compiling gcc itself.  I would guess that in your case, it's something
other than the linker bug.  The details above might help to unlock the
real cause.
